Welcome to the Alpha Iota Chapter of             Alpha Delta Pi!

Alpha Delta Pi was the first sorority ever, founded in 1851. We are committed to sisterhood, values and ethics, high academic standards and social responsibility. The Alpha Iota Chapter at the University of Pittsburgh is made up of over 70 women and makes its home in the Penthouse Suite of Amos Hall. We pride ourselves on sisterhood.

Sisters spent an afternoon passing out green bead necklaces to students in the lobby of Pitt's Litchfield Towers in honor of St. Patrick's Day!! We were proud to show off our ADPirish spirit!

Congratulations to the sisters of ADPi and brothers of Sigma Chi for winning "Most Original Theme" in Greek Sing 2011!!! All your hard work really paid off!

Eighteen sisters participated in Pitt Dance Marathon this year! Ten were dancers, staying up to dance for 24 hours without sitting down, and eight were moralers, who each stayed for at least 12 hours to keep the dancers company! The event raised $33,000.00 to put towards lung and thoracic cancer  research at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.
